    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate actively in industry training programs; strive to complete industry and supplier certification programs beyond entry level
    • Willingness to learn new equipment and materials
    • Promote sales and repeat business by practicing positive customer service skills with clients
    • Troubleshoot and solve problems to rectify problem situations with clients
    • Work as an effective team member, freely sharing knowledge and expertise with other technicians
    • Demonstrate competency in professional installation of ADAS calibration assuring the quality of workmanship
    • Participate actively in industry training programs; strive to complete industry and supplier certification programs beyond entry level.
    • Willingness to learn new installation techniques, equipment and materials
    • Communicates JNP’s glass values to customers


    DAILY TASKS INVOLVE THE FOLLOWING: 

    • Technicians with morning dispatches are expected to depart by 8:15 am
    • Driving a company vehicle to and from each job location
    • Driving a customer vehicle to complete the calibration process
    • Operating a hand-held electronic device to calibrate the ADAS systems, not larger than an iPad
    • Operating a cell phone and/or tablet utilizing camera and e-mail functions
    • On static calibrations, will be required to measure out targets and target stands and place them in specific locations to calibrate the ADAS system utilizing common measuring devices, plumb bobs and laser levels
    • Operating a computer or laptop to perform system updates, data transfers and patch installations

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION:

    • High School/GED required
    • Opti-Aim Certification preferred or must be obtained within 1 year of employment


    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Candidate should be a self-starter and meet the following requirements: Outstanding sales and customer service experience; ability to learn computer systems and business software; possess excellent organizational and communication skills; be able to be challenged and motivate themselves to take on new tasks and responsibilities. 

    • Practice safe driving practices – must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
    • Ability to operate various hand tools
    • Strong verbal, communications skills and effective listening

     

    SCHEDULE:

    Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  Saturday 8 am to 12 pm.
